Sustainability Circle was formed in 2010 with the aim of highlighting maintenance as a resource in the work with industrial sustainability (Sustainability engineering). Maintenance has also gained an increasingly strong position within the academy. Maintenance is changing regarding its content now fundamentally. Development is also accelerating. The driving force is digitalisation and our quest to realize smart companies in general and a smart industry in particular. Smart companies will require "Smart Maintenance" to succeed. By developing traditional maintenance into a Smart Maintenance, our companies can make money in both the short and long term and thereby safeguard their competitiveness. Sustainability Circles' mission is to develop a mindset in the field of industrial sustainability. Our companies are facing increasingly tough challenges and must keep up better to cope with this.
